Seattle, Washington is considered one of the rainiest cities on the Westcoast! But, as I was corrected when I visited a couple months, Seattle is not the rainiest, it is in fact the CLOUDIEST city. So, “though it is not raining all the time, it is just dark and gloomy”. Not sure which one I’d prefer, but both sides made me pack huge jackets, hats, gloves and scarfs.
Seattle is a diverse and maturing city that is surrounded by tradition and culture in surrounding cities and land. With neighboring cities covered in fertile tall trees and shrubbery, the city is almost like a “small” development surrounded by the wilderness. I had the pleasure of spending time in the city of Seattle, which I will elaborate on later, but also had the chance to visit the surrounding cities from the beautifully green, Kirkland, to the small and quaint Snohomish.
