Welcome to our most awesome contest yet!Not only will we be throwing our first ever OPEN contest, where we give the power to the photographer, but the prizes are bigger and better than ever! We have the honor of having this contest sponsored by George’s Camera, ThinkTank Photo & Tamron lenses.
This contest is going to be open to interpretation setting only a simple tone, “A place of beauty”! We want to see what inspires you as a photographer personally and want a little insight on where you see beauty in your world. This can take you to a beautiful sunset, to two people holding hands, to an open road in front of your car with clear skies. True beauty can even be found in a simmering cup of coffee in the morning! (I sure know that’s beautiful for me when I’m getting up early). We want to see where your passion for photography leads you and the beauty you can capture with your own unique perspective. These photos should entice and inspire us, as well as show how limitless creativity and beauty can be!
Due to the grand scope of prizes including CASH, we are opening this contest to everyone with up to 3 entries costing $10 for one photo, $17 for two and $20 for three photos. Not only are the cash prizes bringing a new excitement and incentive to this contest, but the new sponsorship and popularity of these contests has brought the prizes up in value to over $1,500 (see below). The entry fee is to ensure serious entries and promote support and increased attention to critique the photos. We want to show that beauty and good photography come from everything in the world and it can be defined by you!
