This is a quick tutorial of how you can set up a professional and portable background for an indoor or even out door studio.
Jason Kirby, a San Diego Photographer, shows you how to set up a very simple and professional portable background set up to be used for any professional photo or video shoot. The material costs were ~$200 and all are relatively light and portable. This portable background has been used indoors and outdoors with natural and artificial lighting.
The materials required for this portable studio are below (click the link to learn more):
- Background stands and bar (~$120)
- 10’x12′ muslin background (~$70)
- Squeeze clamps ($2 each @ Home Depot)
- A room or space with about 12 feet wide to accommodate move around room and about 15-20 feet long to allow for you to adjust your distance to your subject.
